From the Scottish Cup to the Drybrough Cup, these pages list details of those competitions that included clubs from all around the country.


Drybrough Cup Sponsored pre-season tournament.

Edinburgh Exhibition Cup Four club tournament played at the 1908 exhibition.

Edinburgh International Exhibition Tournament Three match series in 1886 played between six clubs.

Glasgow Exhibition Cup Played in 1901 between First Division clubs.

Glasgow Exhibition Trophy Sixteen clubs were involved in this 1888 event.

Scottish League Cup

Scottish League Challenge Cup Introduced in 1990 to celebrate the centenary of the Scottish League, this is open to clubs below the Premier Division.

Scottish War Emergency Cup This replaced the Scottish Cup in 1939-40 season.

Southern League Cup Wartime competition organised by the Southern League.

Spring Cup One-off competition for Scottish League clubs played in 1975.

Summer Cup Originally a WW2 competition played by Southern League clubs, this was briefly revived in the mid 1960s.

Supplementary Cup Post war competition for B Division clubs that ended in 1952.

Tennent's Sixes Popular indoor tournament held between 1984 and 1993

Victory Cup Two competitions, in 1919 and 1945-46, held to celebrate the end of the two World Wars.



Scottish Junior Cup Before the formation of the present Scottish Junior FA in 1886, there was another one running in 1880-81 season which also had a Junior Cup competition.

Scottish Counties Cup Competition for representative sides of county Junior FAs, played between 1923 and 1956.

Scottish Jubilee Shield Held in 1936 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Scottish Junior FA.
